12 Days Maa Vaishno Devi Dalhousie

Day 1

Day 1 : Arrive Jammu Airport / Rly Stn, transfer to Katra, check in the Hotel, Overnight at Katra Hotel.

Day 2

Day 2 : After Breakfast start trekking 13 KM for Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan, you can hire horse or Palki also from the shrine board. Enjoy get together with your travel companions. "Jai Mata Di". Evening trek 13 Km back to Katra. Overnight at Katra Hotel.

Day 3

Day 3 : Morning check out transfer by surface to Amritsar. On reaching Amritsar, directly transfer to Wagah Border visit. Later transfer to the hotel. Evening visit the Golden Temple (The famous Sikh pilgrim place) and other interesting sights. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4

Day 4 : Morning leave for Dalhousie. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Proceed for local sightseeing in Dalhousie. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5

Day 5 : After Breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Flow through a mesmerizing experience. The vast emerald green meadow of Khajjiar with its thick forested slopes of deodhars, the stupendous mountain views from Lakkar Mandi. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6

Day 6 : Check out and drive to Mc Leodganj (Dharamsala), magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening visit Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Day 7 : Morning after breakfast drive to Manali. Arrive Manali and check into the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8

Day 8 : After breakfast local sightseeing of Manali “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway . “CLUB HOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.” Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.

Day 9

Day 9 : After Breakfast check out from hotel. Drive to Shimla. On the way visit Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu, Sundernagar lake, Pandoh dam. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10

Day 10 : Today breakfast proceed for in and around sightseeing of SHIMLA, visit KUFRI, India's one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - “THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo - Tudor library building - are worth seeing. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11

Day 11 : After breakfast we check-out from Shimla & proceed for Chandigarh. Visit Rock Garden - the lifetime dream of Mr. Nek Chand, Rose Garden And Sukhna Lake in the evening. Overnight at Chandigarh.

Day 12

Day 12 : Today proceed for remaining sightseeings. In time drop at Chandigarh Rly. Stn. / Airport for onward journey.
